I offer online sessions worldwide. I previously worked as a Staff Counsellor for the United Nations in Afghanistan, so I understand first-hand the challenges of working in conflict zones and mission life; this can be useful when I work with humanitarians and veterans.  I have a Masters in Mental Health and my topic was post-traumatic stress disorder in humanitarians, so I can help you during and after being in a challenging environment.

With a background as a Senior Practitioner in an NHS community mental health team, I have an excellent grasp of different diagnoses and have done additional training on working with complex PTSD, depression, anxiety and stress.  I also have expertise in adult attachment and couples relationships, and this approach is well suited to helping with all types of relationship difficulties.

As well as private practice, I work as a Senior Lecturer in Psychological Therapies and Mental Health for a U.K. University, and hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education, so I can design and run workshops for you and your organisation.

All sessions are private and confidential.  Information would only be shared without consent if you were a serious risk to yourself or others.  I am fully qualified to Postgraduate level and insured to practice as a counsellor with Holistic Insurance.  As a registered member with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy, you can be confident that my practice is ethical.
