I have worked in the wellbeing and mental health field since 1998 and clients never fail to amaze and inspire me! A typical session looks at what you've got going for you, your strengths and ways of coping well, and then focuses on building on these and getting you to the life you want, as quickly as possible. The name of this ethos is Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Research on this approach suggests a success rate of 60-70% within 3-5 sessions, although some clients need less, and some more. My shortest time of working with a client was one session, and the longest 3 years. SFBT is empowering and suitable for all cultures and beliefs.
As well as working with individuals, couples and families in the U.K on a huge range of issues and difficulties, I offer online sessions worldwide. As well as qualifications in SFBT, I hold an MSc in Mental Health and have undertaken extensive additional training, so you can be confident that you are in safe, qualified hands.
